For what you get, YouTube Premium is not reasonably priced

You get music streaming through YouTube music app, and no ads on videos.

Considering YouTube is my most used streaming service, it is a godsend for me.

If I ever watch a YouTube video on a friend's device, and am forced to sit through 3 ads my eye starts twitching

I never pay youtube one penny. Ad blockers work just fine on PC and Mac. I never ever see ads.
