Very low specs low end MacBook with only 8GB RAM! I have 32GB on my MacBook Pro.

Just curious if you’ve had a Mac with memory swap long enough to back your comment up. I’m seriously asking because SSD last far longer than spinning drives, and I’ve never had an SSD fail in my time of use. I can’t imagine I’d have my Mac that long to see effects of memory swap on a SSD.

I had an Intel with 8GB/256GB and it was very slow, to the point where it was unusable...which is why I traded it for an M1 MBA. Unfortunately ever since the advent of M series processors, I'm unable to tolerate MacBook (of any kind) displays probably due to temporal dithering. So I had to get rid of the M1 MBA but unfortunately the Intel one had already been traded to the Apple store and so I couldn't get it back.
