Apple's site says it 'improves performance". Anyone know any more than that? :) Like how much longer do we get out of the battery or anything?

I imagine it will take a few days for all of the reports to come in, but I have seen approx. 200 mAh gain in Coconut Battery since installing it (and without any discharge cycle in between). With 25 cycles, I was down to 95% health; I have returned to 100%+

Thats really good...this is why its great to have a computer made by a manufacturer that only makes a few products, the upgrades are outstanding and far beyond what you would get from Toshiba, Dell etc. :)

well I installed the update and to my surprise my Health actually went down from 92% to 88%. Then when I went to check the version of the updater, it does not show me the version, niether do any of the folders I try the apple+i combination and niether of them show me the version... now this has me worried.

Yeah, I think the overall size of the 17" is bigger. I'm no expert, but I was about to download that update and noticed it said it was for the 15" MBP.

What I'm hoping for (beyond the snappiness of Safari) is for a more consistent reading of capacity. In the last 2 weeks, I've ranged between 75% health and (now) 100% health. While I don't use my battery daily, I'm certainly using more cycles than the minimum Apple recommended monthly battery cycle. This, I imagine, will take a few more weeks to determine with any certainty.
