Yes, I have a developer account and still have this issues. I am performing right now a 'Reset' for settings as someone mentioned on another thread

This seems to be a random issue... not sure what could be causing it. I have an iphone 5 and mine boots the same as before. I dont reboot much though so i wouldnt usually see this as an issue...

And yes, I did ota from beta 4

My guess is that this is so variable because the iPhone is probably doing a file system check on boot(fsck) so it would really depend on the file system tables on your device as to how long the boot time takes. Just my theory, but it makes sense.

Mine took 29 seconds from power button to Lock screen so I can enter my password, pretty much the same as previous version.
For what it's worth, I did reset all settings after installing OTA and is an A1428 iPhone 5

UPDATE: Just did it a second time and was the same, exactly 29 seconds.

I tried twice. First time was 44 seconds. Second time was 48 seconds. Definitely slower than previous betas.
That's slower actually? I'd say anything under a minute is at least decent, and something in the 40-second range is at least good.

Previous betas were in the low 20s for me.
Interesting. I've had springboard crashes that restarted that quickly, but usually an actual restart or turning the phone and then turning it on would have the boot process take 30 seconds at the very least, and usually more in the 40 to perhaps even 60 second range.

In the middle of several books.

Going to do a fresh install later on this evening, and will be interesting to see if that makes any difference.

Beta 5: iPhone 4S: 32.9s

Seems like it's even faster than 6.13 or 7.0 b4. However, after the OTA, my iPhone doesn't have the "unlock" sound anymore(while the "lock" sound is still there...)

Same here on my iPad mini and iPhone 5. Clean install and boot takes forever. When I rebooted my iPad at one point I thought I had bricked my phone. Cause it was taking so long to boot up.

Last boot took me 2 minutes and 36 seconds... Can you beat that

I'm not sure if this could help, but it had lots of speed problems with beta 1. So I set my device in Restore mode by powering down and then holding the Home button while plugging the device into my Mac.

After I reinstalled from this forced *must restore* mode, I never again had speed issues - and did OTA for each update.

My iPhone 5 is taking almost 4 min to boot. It seems like it gets stuck at the boot screen for almost 3 min, then the screen goes blank (with the backlight still on) for ~30 sec, and then it shows the apple logo briefly before the lockscreen. Annoying

Very slow boot !

Hi all,

Just updated (OTA) my iPhone 4S and iPad mini with beta 5, and tried to switch off/on these devices.

Beta 5 is very long to boot on these two devices !

Anyone else ?

I'm agree with you 100%. Indeed beta 5 is very slow boot whether hard reset or just turn it off and on.

Boot time on iPhone 4S beta 5 seems quite fast. I think initial boot after install was a little slower but nothing past that.

How fast... My iPhone 4S boots 1 minutes and 30 second, where the iPad 3 is 2 minutes and 39 seconds

From the time the apple logo came on to the time the phone rebooted, 42 seconds. 7 more sections following that for my phone to "search" for a single until I got one.

I did it again. Power + home button. Started timer when I saw the Apple logo.
10:10 44s
10:11 27s

Found single 5 seconds following. I used time.gov as my timer.
