change color of open app indicator in dock

In El Capitan, is there a way to change the color of open apps indicators in the dock? Prior to El Capitan, the indicators were white, which were easy to see; now, in El Capitan, they're black, and against the gray of the dock itself, very hard to see. (I'm old, with somewhat compromised vision). If I could change them back to white my problem would be solved.

You can use c-dock to change the color. I've got a gray desktop background and set the indicators to red. You'll need to disable sip to install it but can then turn sip back on.
