Ahoy, does anyone actually know when any of these games are being released  at the key note it said in July, but i haven't seen a release date anywhere for any of the games and on the EA site there's not even a option for macs. bizarre.

agreed!

I'd love to pick up a nice Universal copy of C&C Tiberium Wars but apparently they're keeping the dates secret.

C'mon EA, i have a 12 hours car ride coming up in like 6 weeks!

I think if you go to IGN.com you can go to PC gaming (in the menu at the top of the web page) and find out the release dates of the games you want to see- they will probably not note Mac versions, but you can find out the PC release dates.

Just keep checking your favorite Mac news sites for announcements. Inside Mac Games had previews of Harry Potter, BF2142, and NFS:Carbon, but they don't appear to be the usual beta tests they normally preview, just previews of what to expect from the games.

Yeah, I've been wondering this too, though I most certainly cannot play these games on my Mac mini xD

There won't be Universal versions of any of EA's games. They're using Cider for all of them, which means they are all Intel-only, not Universal.

oh, well that's mighty fine with me. the more intel it is, the better. lol

the intel CPU's that are in all the macs are obviously better equipped for gaming. mac gaming has to evolve and if they keep needing to downscale projects to run on G4's and 5's then they can't compete with the enormous PC market.

Well, they have StarCraft 2 on there for a release in 2007. I would like to think it would be out before Christmas but I have my reservations.

probably only 1 game will be released perhaps on July 31st and the rest of the games will come out by the "end of the year". I know I'm pessimistic.

well i really want C&C to come out soon. I refuse to install windows on my MBP and i really want a good RTS.

Civ4 is keeping me occupied but I'm missing my old RTS games.

I asked at an Apple store today and the latest information on C&C 3 is still July. Take it for what its worth.

Hi,

I would really like to know when Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix will be out in the UK. It's out on all the other platforms just not OS X.

Thanks.

It has already been confirmed by Blizzard the game won't come out this year. They said "possibly" 2008 but knowing Blizzard it will likely be 2009, not that I care much about the 3D expansion pack to the original starcraft.

It's odd that there's no release date. Without a date, I doubt EA's just gonna be like "oh, yeah, in stores tomorrow!"

There's usually a build up until a final release date. Although maybe they don't need to be advertised since they're already very popular games...
