Apple Beta site is being updated as we speak… Will we see the public beta being released today?

Yes, there have been some hints it would be any day now. Looks like Public Beta 1 is inbound.

Does nVidia usually release a web driver once a new OS goes public beta? IE did they do it for Yosemite last year?

I don't know about if it will be exactly the same build as DP3, but it should be close.

The major difference will be that PB1 will have to be a full installer, but so far DP3 is just a delta update. There is so far no full installer for DP3.

Apple might release one though because they removed DP2 from the sucatalog making it hard to update from DP1. A full installer of DP3 would simplify things a lot for developers right now.

Maybe they read the engadget story and decided to delay it to make engadget look bad.

Personally, I've found DP3 to be the least stable beta of the 3 so far and I would urge caution before installing it (It should go without saying, but definitely don't install it as your primary OS on a critical system :))

So could I treat it as another type of planned obsolescence? Maybe this word is not proper but removing previous beta download link could let users installing early beta need to find other ways to install latest one, or simply wait until it is released officially.

Why is it not showing up as an update through the App store? I am on the PB and that's where I've always found it.

Had to re-enroll my Mac. Still not showing up for me though. :(

You can't do a delta update from yosemite to el capitan. It will require a full installer. All 6GB worth.

Redeem a code for it.

I had to manually redeem the code in the app store for the beta to show up.
