Yes, I like that too.

I'm always afraid I'll be electrocuted when I use one of those UK plugs. Thankfully, most of the outlets I encountered had a switch right on the outlet.

Those giant plugs do seem like a relic of the past.

Those plugs are designed so that you can't be electrocuted. Inside the socket holes is a shutter, that's opened by the long pin at the top of the plug. The other two pins are insulated so your fingers can't make contact. By time the plug is in deep enough to form a circuit, only the insulated part of the pins are exposed.

What, and your US plugs with their tiny wobbly breakable blade key prongs and no earth never mind outlet switches, are so much more reassuring?! ;)

The only annoying "relic" aspect of the UK 3-pronger is how bulky it is when carrying it in a bag. Was hoping Apple would license or buy this very elegant solution...

The 3 pin plug in the UK is the safest in the world :)

Am I the only one who was disgusted by his disgusting finger nails? If you're gonna do a video showing your hands a lot, get your finger nails looking presentable. And just don't bite them. Yuck.

Am I the only one shocked by the new power plug?

I know, I'm a big Apple fan but I dunno if I'm willing to move to the UK from the US just to own an iPhone. :roll eyes:

Seriously though, is that a 2 m power cord? 1 m is way too short! Won't even reach a desk surface from the ground.

Here's the official Apple iPhone 6 box:

Scroll down to "In the Box" near the bottom.

Whaaa? Why did they design the cover to look like that? I'm not even sure what that's supposed to represent...

its a Demo Phone

We have the demo iPhone 6 and 6 Plus at work up and running, they come in a box without the label and pictures so people don't know whats in it. The boxes we will sell to people have iPhone 6 and 6 plus written on the side and the picture on the front :)

There is nothing quite like an iPhone unboxing experience. But it's a thrill you really can't communicate back to an audience on youtube, because you need to be in there feeling and touching your way to the moment you get to experience that new thing for the first time.
