This thread shows us that when humans eventually go extinct, and thousands of years later another civilization stumbles on our buried remains, the iPhones will be able to tell our story...

this is the best story i have read on macrumors.

you should email it to steve jobs, if he reads it he WILL reply!

I agree, was thinking the same thing when reading the story, would make a great commercial too !

Good to know iPhones will still be around thousands of years from now when the Eloi and Morlocks dig them up.

I had a 10 mph lowside on a motorcycle (I fell behind the bike as it continued to skid forward on its side), primarily landed on my left hip. My original iPhone was in my left pocket and took the brunt of the fall. Had plenty of abrasions on my knee and ankle, but just a bruise on my hip. The back of the iPhone had a couple big dings and the volume mute switch was too deformed to slide, but otherwise worked fine.
