Any word on whether iOS/iPadOS 15.7.1 .ipsw are available for all devices that currently have iOS/iPadOS 15.7 .ipsw available (ie. a downgrade pathway from iOS 16.x will continue to available for all devices launched pre-September 2022) or is iOS/iPadOS 15.7.1 only for devices that don't support iOS/iPadOS 16.1?

Available for every device just like 14.8.1 did last year

Just downgraded my iPhone 13 Pro Max to iOS 15.7 from 16.1 RC via ipsw. What a night and day difference in terms of battery life and things working as they should! Will update to 15.7.1 once it’s pushed out on Monday and hope 16.2 smooths things over as 16.1 is still riddled with bugs and battery life is still not on par with iOS 15.

How to install this RC? I am on iOS 15.7, I know I need a beta profile, but on beta page there’s only 16 profile.

I'm hoping any new iOS 15 release will enable firmware updates on my new AirPod Pro 2's. Only iOS16 seems able to do it so far and I don't want to upgrade to that just yet.

No issues here with 15.7.1
Glad to hear. I did some digging and apparently Face ID breaks after resetting it. I’m thinking apple will push out a new build tomorrow with a fix. Still better than the dumpster fire of ios 16 in its current buggy state

on 16.0.3 getting 3,9h on screen. Lol at least 4.3 on 15.7. Not good at all. Hype for 15.7.1 honestly

Does it look like 15.7.1 is gonna be spreaded only as RC version (just like 15.7)? 3utools delivers only RC version.

Good question actually. 3u delivers only 15.7.1RC, but I guess Apple has to fix the Faceid bug before releasing it publicly both to iPhone7- and newer ones.

Does not appear that Apple released 15.7.1 yet officially. Maybe today. Hard to say. Right now the newest is the RC and until Apple either releases the same build, or newer build to the public, we are waiting to see what it turns out to be.

Much time passed and no final stable version of 15.7.1 yet. Feels like RC is all one can get from this build. No idea why Apple doesn’t deliver proper ipsw versions of final iOS builds. Same happend to iOS 14.7-14.8.1 as far as I remember. Maybe that’s how they push users switch to the newest iOS. 🤔
