I am using the Samsung Wireless charger (as Apple failed to make one), my phone still has 100% battery health.

So if you buy a wireless charger, the one from Samsung is quite good.
I’m also using the wireless charger of Samsung and my iPhone XS, which I bought in november 2018, had 100% till a week ago. Now it’s at 97%.

I checked the graph and mine shows charging all the way to 100% and stays there throughout the night.

I guess when you use apple charger it works, any other charge may be not.
Tonight I'll use the apple 18w charge and check the graph in the morning and post my findings here.

It doesn't appear to work on mine either, but I have put this down to very irregular charging patterns making it almost impossible for software to determine when I am likely to remove it from power.

Do you have Significant Locations enabled on your iPhone? This might be a part of the trick:

In my experience, Apple’s battery health percentage is rather useless for determining the battery’s performance. On my iPhone 7 it was showing 88% and at the same time was suggesting replacing the battery. Coconut Battery (a Mac app) showed 55% for the same battery at the same time, so go figure.

I do indeed, but thanks for the link. Much obliged. Common sense tells me that my charging habits are just too random for the phone to predict when I might remove it from charge. It doesn’t bother me anyway, if I’m honest. I’ll likely have replaced the phone before the battery dies, and if I haven’t then I’ll just get Apple to fit a replacement.

I have no idea how you guys can have so high battery health after so long of using. I think I really have to purchase a wireless charger. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
Wireless charger is actually not ideal. Wireless produces more heat than a (slow) wired charge. If you really care about your battery, you would use your 5w slow iPhone charger. Especially overnight, where the fast charging is meaningless.

All i use is the leather samsung fast charge wireless and mine is 100% since September, mostly overnight too, or in car for CarPlay.

Just for chiming in: My 8+ from November 2017 has 89 % battery health. I wouldn't mind too much if I were you :)

Snap! It actually dropped a few percentage points in the last few weeks but I’m not bothered. It’s replaceable.

My launch day Pro is still showing 100% too. However, I think it’s more than likely that the health capacity feature isn’t consistent across all iPhones, I mean how can months of use and daily charging have no affect on the battery? It can’t, batteries degrade and that’s the bottom line.

I don't put too much stock in the battery health, and I am not completely sure it is accurate.

I got my 11 (non pro) back in October. My battery health shows 97%, and I can get 2 days usage out of my phone easily. My usage habits have not changed. I would enjoy your phone.

On a [related] side note, i'm amazed with the battery life of the Pro Max. I had a battery case on my XS Max and honestly believe i wont need it with this phone. Happy with thicker/heavier phones for battery life.

Mine was purchased last October and is at 98%. Charge once per night, switching off at 100%. 11 pro, wireless charging. Always on latest beta.

92% here on a launch day 11 Pro. Could easily get 2 days out of it on a single charge last year. Now I have to charge every night.

Update:

finally after OS 13.4 update my optimise battery charging is working well and I feel it is adjusting the 80-100% depending on my wake up alarm time.

Anyone else notice this?

Charged my 11 Pro overnight since launch, using the old slow charger. Still showing 100% battery health and it’s used fairly heavily during the day playing podcasts, music, texts, emails, internet usage, social media and YouTube videos.

My SE which was bought just before Christmas sealed, charged the same way and used the same, still at 100% health.

Perhaps the issue is the fast charger that comes with the Pro phones?

View attachment 892351 Guys, this is my newest update for my battery health - 95%.
How much do you use your phone? Do you use it all day long? Do you ever use it while it’s charging? I’m not a battery expert nor do I claim to be but if your battery life is dropping that quick in two months clearly there’s something that’s causing it to drop like that. It’s either your usage, or how it’s being charged. I feel like there is a missing variable here.

Same for me. Finally the optimize charging went fine tonight with OS 13.4.

Kinda of annoying that Apple caused extra wear on my battery because they couldn’t implement optimize battery correctly.

For me the drop is 1% so it is at 99% battery health at the moment, that wasn't bothering me. At night leaving my phone on Samsung Wireless 15W wireless charger was worrying me.

My launch day Pro is charged in the same manner as yourself with the same sort of use during the day too and mine is also still showing 100% - I use the included fast charger.

My 11 Pro Max is at 99% after 4 months! I charge my device once a day overnight using Samsung wireless charger. Sometimes use my MacBook Pro's 85W charger.
Same here, 11 Pro Max just dropped to 99% health after 4 months.

Charging every 2 days, overnight by USB Anker charger and during the day by Samsung wireless car holder/charger.
