My take is use the phone as is and charge whenever needed. I like seeing my battery at 100% haha.

End of the day, just have apple replace the battery when it’s bad.

I don’t like to be a slave to my phone and controlling my own usage

My wife abuses her 11 pro and it just hit 98% after 10 months of use. She uses it how she wants, and doesn’t follow any battery health guides. Losing 2% in 10 months is solid. More import than the number is how long it lasts, and it gets her through nearly every day without needing to top it off.

98%. Fast charging deteriorates battery a little
Broken or frayed cable also could be a cause

iPhone 11 PRO Max 512GB - Release date model. I’m at 92%.

very heavy usage like 10 hours average per day.

Launch day and mine is at 96%. I always use fast charge and optimize battery on.

My 11 Pro purchased at launch is still at 100%. Light use and charged with Apple 12 watt charger (never overnight).

My XS with same use case was at 97% when I first checked battery health sometime in the first month after purchase. It remained at 97% the entire year that I had it with no performance issues. It was either charged with a 5 watt or 12 watt charger.

The whole thing is inaccurate
I bought my 11 pro max on launch day, after about 3 months it was down to 96%. It has stayed there ever since!
I always use the 18w charger, but it’s crazy to suggest the battery lost 4% in 3 months then nothing for the next 8 months

My 11 Pro Max purchased at launch is still at 100% till this day. I have checked on coconut battery and still is at 103% capacity of it's design capacity given. I do not charge it full when it needs to be charged and always charge it till 80% and then I take it off. Only on weekends I charge it to full once. Been doing this since launch day and battery is in great condition.

I just bought an iPhone 11 Pro last year September. Then after two months (November 2019) of using, my iPhone 11 Pro's battery health dropped until 95% with normal using (one day one charge). Then I went to Apple Authorized Shop to repair. After a few days, Apple changed a new iPhone 11 Pro with different IMEI number. Then after another two months of using, now my new iPhone 11 Pro's battery health again dropped to 96%. I was wondering what is the problem? I understand that battery is kind of a degrading stuff following by the days of using. Is it the 18W fast charger hurt battery? FYI, I had been using Apple's product for few years. My last iPhone SE does not have this kind of problem. Anyone can suggest? And can anyone tell me how much is yr iPhone 11 Pro battery health? Thank you very much. View attachment 891678
Nope, not the only one having issues, I’ve had my iPhone 11 Pro for 6 months, and I’m at 86% Battery health, and am now going down much rapidly, 2% a day I’m losing

i know we are talking about iPhone 11 but I want to clarify my problem. I have this iPhone XS Max and it doesn’t seem to charge past 82%.
Not with charger not with wireless charger.
Battery life is 84% is this normal?
I hope it is not the motherboard. Bought it second hand.

If it’s going through 100% charging state then you are fine

it might be your motherboard. Might need a ic replacement. If it’s not ic the charging port flex or even the battery.

Does it drain now? Was it charging slow before ??
it was slow before battery percentage says 91 but i don't believe it. might be lower maybe in the 80s. asked the rep and explained my siutation i use the 5w brick or the 20w brick not the fast charging to charge my phone when its usually 26-30 percent. they diagnosed by phone and said the cycle was 656. which was alot. normally its 300.
