So far, better performances and no issues on iOS 12 Beta 2 than 11.4 official with:

- iPhone X.
- iPad Mini 2.
- iPhone SE.
- iPhone 6.

So your devices should run iOS 12 smoothly (it's in Beta, so YMMV. But if an iPad Mini 2 can take it and run swell, I'm not afraid for your 2nd Gen iPad Pro).
