Yeah I wonder if there is a data connection that occurs if you plug the battery’s charging cable into a Mac, even if it is undocumented. There has to be a way to check.

What I would love to know if anyone with the USB developer strap has tried to see if using it in the finder brings up the familiar Sync options on the iPad/iPhone/iPod? That alone would make it worthwhile to get the USB developer strap.
