How high is the lip on the bullstrap? Is it about the same as the LC? Is there anyway you could compare the weights?Mine is due today, will post some pictures when it arrives next to the lucky coin for comparison.

Here are some comparison shots, it’s a much higher quality than the LC version, and is a tighter fit on the phone (in a good way), however I’m sticking with my open bottom cases so if anyone in the UK wants to save on shipping I’ve listed it on eBay ready for immediate dispatch.

It’s definitely thicker, not by much and you don’t notice it in hand. Weight feels the same as well but don’t have any scales to weigh sadly.
I hated how "scratchy" the finewoven cases felt. Bugged me forever, mine sits in a drawer.
You will love it. It is a very nice case and the leather feels great.
Yeah it feels like crap, the sides aren't so bad but the back is horrible.
I can't wait! Managed to get it for £14 on some kind of sale they have right now so absolute steal at that price.

Mine has a slight gap. It’s never bothered me but just a heads up.
I miss Apple's leather case, I have a torro one on the iPhone 15pm 39g, but I prefer the ink one on the 14pm, it fits better and only weighs 30g

My buttons are good but my port is misaligned on the close bottom bullstrap. Will say tho , this case has the best buttons I’ve ever used

Is there any gap between the USB C cut out and the case as some people have complaining about? Are the buttons the same as the open bottom case?
I have a Ryan London and actually feel like the buttons are smoother and more tactile on this bullstrap. Can’t go wrong either way
In terms of button smoothness for closed bottom cases I would say Bullstrap > Ryan London > Andar
After receiving it, are you more of a fan of the open or closed bottom versions now?
They're both so similar it's really a personal preference on whether you prefer the style of open-bottom vs closed. The leather quality is identical. I like the buttons on the open-bottom more yet I prefer the camera cutout of the closed-bottom. That gap between the case and the charging port really seems to bug people but it's never been an issue for me.
I will say that I like the LuckyCoin slightly more than the closed-bottom BS because it's a little thinner. After rocking a FineWoven case for so long, the extra thickness is really noticeable to me. It's not really a huge issue as I'll get used to it again, but out of the three leather cases I own, I reach for the LC first.
YMW / Ali 14P about 3 weeks in. After spending a fortune on BS/RL/Nomad/Wiiuka/GoodWilhelm/Apple etc. I think I found my holy grail in china. Imho best leather quality.
