Macbook Air Case?

I bought this case too and love it! I tried using the incase sleeve with this but found it doesn't fit. I have been finding that the case is well padded and soft enough inside so I don't really need extra protection. Are you doing the same or are you still using a sleeve with particular case? I just like the ease of pulling it out of this slick looking leather case.

I like my incase neoprene sleeve. It does have about a half inch gap exposed where the flap closes, but I just use it for extra protection in my bag anyway, so it's still quite protected.

This is what I use if I need to take my MBA off-site for recording purposes. Has room for the adapter, superdrive and some blank media.

Plus it has key locks which is nice - and it makes me look like a total drug dealer if i wear my shades....

WaterField Designs SleeveCase (http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleevecases/sleevecases.htm); size 13-2. I got mine with the flap, shoulder strap, and piggyback. The shoulder strap and piggyback are removable, and then the whole case can be slipped into a normal backpack (or other larger case) when desired.

Most of the time, I just carry the SleeveCase on it's own, though.

It's held up really well, and is small enough most people don't even know there's a computer inside.

Do you.... or anyone else..... have a Cargo or Cozmo bag from them?

I just ordered the sleeve in the same configuration that you have. I cant wait to get it, but i dont see any pictures on their site into the larger bags, so i cant tell how many compartments etc.

I currently have a Kipling Hover Messenger Bag that has ample storage space, three inside separate zippered compartments and a padded laptop sleeve. Its incredibly light and has held up incredibly well, but im looking for something a bit more stylish.

I use a Tom Bihn Checkpoint Flyer for travel

The Checkpoint Flyer is great for going through the security scan. No need to take the MBA out of the case -- just unfold the trifold case and put it through the X-ray.

The Ristretto is nice and light when I am just doing a short commute.

I also use the Tom Bihn SuperDrive case, though I don't see that on the web site at the moment.

heavy duty case

I use sleeves, shoulder bags, or backpack cases when going short distances. For long trips my needs require something sturdy and weatherproof. I use hard cases made by Pelican or other companies.

That is about the size I usually use for most laptops with a few small peripheral devices. Bulky but very tough. Overkill for most people.
