They all have air play 2, so they will appear as speakers when you airplay from your iOS device. The only difference is the sl’s don’t have mic’s so it won’t have Alexa or google assistant (which I prefer). I also believe the gen 2 they updated the processer, yet the sound is the same. I have one of each and they play great with my homepod and HomePod mini.
It also seems that it can connect to Apple Music https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3282 ?
And in contrast to HomePod, the Sonos also seems to understand my local language (Swedish).
So this means that I can say "Hey Google play Madonna" and it will play Madonna from Apple Music? That would be great.
The gen 2 looks like a great buy for me.

How do two HomePod Minis in stereo sound? I’ve been really impressed by just the one so far and have been considering adding a second for stereo music and two channel use with the AppleTV.
