iPad, as the name aptly conveys, is meant for I and I only.

Next time OP tell them to look but not touch. Problem solved.

I'm completely with you on this. I could not share a device like iPad.... Not even sure how that would work.... Obviously my girlfriend uses it from time to time to use Safari, but to have separate user accounts I think is pretty ridiculous!

It's weird, every reply I read of yours seems like a repeat, bit like a stuck record. It's probably just me.

It is not just you. Read his blog (link in his sig). He just doesn't realize he is on a site that is all about Apple.

Multiple user accounts would be a great feature on the iPad.

+1

One of my only disappointments with the iPad is that there are no privacy options for those of us that share our iPad with others

I use that for videos. I have a bunch of porno on my iPad. I set all those types of videos as "movies" and everything else as "tv shows.". I can lock the "movies" under restrictions/movies/don't allow any. There's a separate restriction setting for tv shows, which I don't lock. Works great.

How do you set the type to movies or tv shows? Reason I ask is some of my music videos are showing up as movies but I want them in music videos with the rest of my stuff.

Apple A company tuned to make money. You think a little bit more about each complaint and that same truth keeps cropping up. Sorry if the truth seems redundant. It doesn't appear to be that obvious in this forum though.

Obvious Truth, All Companies are Tuned to Make Money. How else do they survive. Go ahead Steve make lots of money, oh and by the way in the process make stuff I can use everyday.

Thanks

Thanks for some of the ideas... Several have mentioned just letting people look but not touch. I'm thinking thats nearly impossible with a household full of preteens and a large family, but maybe for strangers. I hope we get additional security settings soon.
