Been learning how to bake bread since I’m stuck at home. Here are a few samples. Not great shots—wanted to test how well the iPhone 11 Pro Max does with portrait mode. Decent results but still struggles on occasion defining the focus subject.

Just other things have taken up my interest so haven't been into phones for a while. And work.

Anyway, storm season is getting started around here and had my trusty XL 2 when one got close enough for me to grab a couple shots while I was at work.

I’m jealous of these macro shots taken from years old blackberries. I know these tech pundits are questioning why macro lenses are needed in the array of lenses on current gen phones but I think it’s a no brainer. I love macro photography! Can anyone recommend a phone other than the blackberries that take good macro photos at a reasonable price?

Cute pic but the S20+ really struggled with that shot...focus and clarity are really off. Unless you were using the super zoom capabilities and were at high zoom and a long distance away, I wouldn’t be very happy with that shot.

no it got the shot..they were moving and I wasn't very still and I cropped the shot afterwards

The baby quail don't stay still and are vert fast. Here is another shot that wasn't cropped.
