I’ve spent the weekend comparing my iPhone X with my 11 side by side.I’m quite surprised listening to all the hype but found the 11 performed worse a lot of the time when it came to detail. Normal light no difference to worse but started to show its colours in lower light. A little disappointed to be honest.

I upgraded from a Xs Max to a 11 Pro Max and noticed a big difference in photo quality.

Gone full circle here!

iPhone X

For 11 - took 11 back and got a 11 Pro

Now returning the Pro and going back to my X

Not enough of a difference or upgrade as I hoped it would

Well visited my local Apple Store and compared to the 11s cameras there. Thankfully no difference from mine to the other 11s, however I did think that the pro was very very slightly sharper. I thought the camera hardware were identical ? I also took a test shot this evening and although I think a bit of tweaking with night mode could have improved it a bit , was quite impressed.

He means that the experience of every professional reviewer, pius pretty much everyone on here (me included) is the exact opposite of yours i.e. that the 11 camera is a massive step up from the X and is a noticeable step up from the XS, especially in low light.

Exactly this

I went from an iPhone X to 11 and the camera quality of indoor and night shots is a massive upgrade.

I went from an X to the 11 Pro Max. The cameras are a great deal better. I take a lot of photos, and I can see the differences in the resulting images. The 11 Pro is much better overall.
