So much to love. I'm a frustrated architect. I LOVED the architecture in San Fran, and New York. So awesome...

Usually with the Halide app and in Raw or HEIC with the Ultrawide. Edit in Light Room and then apply a filter on VSCO.

With the iPhone 14's just being released, just a little reminder that the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro are still pretty good phones These are from my 11 Pro.

The quality of photography that can be achieved on the 11Pro doesn't make me want to upgrade any time soon.
Unless they give me a 10x optical zoom, I can't see a compelling reason to upgrade (from a camera perspective).

Agreed. Unless you’re really into photography and or content creation I’d say even the iPhone X is still really good for taking pics and probably video.

I only upgraded due to my 11Pro battery clapping out and there being the ability to upgrade for free once a trade-in and hefty discount were applied.
The 14Pro isn't that much better from a photography perspective. In fact it's not really any better as far as I am concerned.

Seems like this camera really is hit or miss. In terms of the overall performance of these cameras, it's certainly a step up from the XS. I really do think the 11 Pro is the best camera phone you can buy as of right now.

1) 16MP would have been great, the images look great on the phone screen but not when you blow them up on the big screen, that's when you're reminded (rather bluntly) that you're looking at a photo from a phone.
2) The images are super grainy and blurry in a lot of casual shots when the lighting is not perfect, especially with that ultrawide. Speaking of which, the corners of ultrawide shots are considerably muddy in poor light, it's a bit distracting.
3) The majority of night mode shots I've seen so far have been very grainy and washed out with too much artificial processing layered on top.
4) HDR looks great sometimes but I've seen shots where the effect is way too aggressive to the point where the image looks a tad artificial.
5) Backlit photos are very good, a major improvement from the XS in my opinion

Just do not understand your grainy comment maybe it’s your computer screen that’s causing this item you’re seeing.
