Really like the next gen portraits. I seem to turn more pics into portraits from a normal shot than using the dedicated portrait mode now. Probably because at the time of taking it I don’t see it is a portrait shot 😃

Playing with infrared photography. Using the URTH 720nm IR filter found on Amazon. Pleasing results. All edits done with Lightroom mobile, iPhone 15 pro max, ProRAW. The filter is fairly dark, so no night mode shots. All leaves on the trees are dark green, but show as white in infrared. Pretty cool. Next I want to try editing in color.

Managed to capture the sunrise right through the clouds this morning. With all of the finger-pointing and **** flinging going on in other parts of the forums, I figured posting something beautiful would help someone, somewhere. Slightly modified in lightroom.
I bought this filter for my Sony camera so it would fit on my Sigma 135mm f/1.8 lens, 82mm filter. Currently, I’m just holding the filter over the camera array because it’s big enough to cover the entire back of the phone and hold at the same time and I just simply shoot through it. I don’t adjust any exposure values because the phone doesn’t try to over expose. I have a case on my iPhone and that helps with keeping the filter flat. Then I upload the photos in Lightroom and convert them to black-and-white because the original image is a deep red photo and converting it to black-and-white or using the color sliders to get rid of all of the red is the best way to edit the photo to reveal the infrared foliage color change. this is a very nice filter, designed in Australia and is fully multi coded. Definitely high-quality. I may order some step up/step down rings to use with my beastgrip lenses instead of buying another filter. That way I won’t have to hold it. Because I do have a fear of dropping it lol.
Thanks ToddH for that helpful explanation. This has got me thinking… I have several filters of various sizes for my different cameras. I will definitely get some of them out and experiment…. Cheers.

Dunno if this has been asked, but did you change any settings in your camera app from default? i can never ever get anything as clear as. you with my 15 Pro Max lol
I do some edits and change exposure for some of the shots, either in the native camera & photo app or Snapseed.
