In exchange for favourable reviews.
My wife received some free battery operated fairy lights the other day in exchange for some photos and a review of a light bulb we bought.

Right... But do you guys contact the company or do you go to them? Or are you in a program of some sort?

I signed up on amzreviews.co.uk and you just pick stuff and the seller then sends you a code, I thought it was a scam at first but I've had at least 20 items for free. Not everything is free though...

You enter the code at checkout on amazon and it discounts the item.

Similar to the purchase thread, post the last thing you got for free! It can be anything really. Please try to post a picture.

Replacement MacBook Pro with a new full year of Applecare :) My old Applecare expires this month so I got lucky.

How does the program work? Feel free to PM if you prefer that.

Well I got in the program because I was part of their samsung galaxy trial earlier in the year. I believe you can refer people when you're asked to participate.

Another freebie for me! The computer shop that I used to work at knows that I love old computers, so they always give me a heads up whenever something ancient comes their way.

This time, it was an Apple IIc and matching monitor! Both look like they've been left out to bake in the Florida sun for a bit too long, and the IIc sadly is nonfunctional, but the little monitor works wonderfully.

First is a pic of the monitor and IIc, and the second is the monitor working with my IIc+ :)

I bought an iBook G3 Clamshell for $50, but the wifi card wouldn't work regardless of every troubleshooting idea in the book, so the seller is sending me another one for free! So now I have 2 iBook G3 Clamshells for the price of 1 :D
