I think that I'll hit 80% of battery health before 1000 cycles.. Screen is on about 1-2 hours a day. Charging every 2-3 days to 100% from MacBook.

my XsMax is at 89% but only gets 5 hrs of usage, apple is doing a warranty swap on my device tomorrow. Since I cannot renew applecare+ because it was marked damaged but not repaired when I sent it in for screen fix.

My XS Max 256 has average screen time use 6-7 hrs daily, and I’ve had it since Sept 2018 (2+ years usage).

Current Battery Health Max Capacity is 99%.

Is this accurate? I don’t use any special charging routine, just charge on wireless Belkin pad and CarPlay daily.

My XR, bought Oct 27 2018, has 92%. I charge with the iPad Pro 10,5 charger exclusively now, previously I charged it with the iPad Air 2 charger. Basically, it's always a wired charge with an iPad charger.

After a full day, the phone is at about 50%, plus/minus a couple of percentage points. If it's a weekend and I don't have calls and generally use the phone less, it lasts noticably more, so standby is good.

As for usage, I always have LTE, location services and Bluetooth on, I use Airpods (haven't used any wired accessory in a long time) and mostly use stock apps (hardly any battery consuming apps). No social media whatsoever.

If I conserved battery or basically paid any mind to how quickly it depletes, I could make this into a two-and-a-half-day phone. I'm very satisfied with battery life and peak capacity after nearly two full years. I reckon it goes strong for another year before I swap out the battery.

I think it is accurate, I’ve seen phones need replacement at 90%. The 80% number isn’t set in stone, I think apple calculates voltage too in their health percentage. So trust their number.

Launch day xs max; can’t see cycle count though I never let it drop to zero (I always find a charger or portable battery when it drops to <20%) and charge it every night.

Battery health at 91%.

Launch day XS Max, 96%.

EDIT: Qi wireless charging (slow) overnight, intermittent charging during the day. I usually keep my phone topped off, or try to.
