Nice setup. Get some real wallpapers, though.

What I find hilarious is that people would call me a fanboy for owning Macs, iPads, and iPhones but if I had this setup everyone at my university would think I was so progressive, hipster and not a fanboy at all. (Not calling you one, I'm just saying :p)

Currently in transition. New desk, new rig about halfway done. Still waiting on a GPU, some new speakers, a nice set of headphones, and a desktop mic.

Is that the corsair 240?

Also, can you list your build and that keyboard?

I know this is an older post, but stumbled upon it today and love the set up!

Thanks for the reply. I posted before somewhere that I considered going from console gaming to pc gaming and wanted a mid level rig that could serve as my all in one (computer + gaming). Did the rig you built into the corsair 240 cost much? I don't need the best, in fact that most intensive game I play right now would be GTA V on xbox one.

All said and done it cost me a little over $1500 shipped for the PC itself. The mouse and KB combo will cost you another $200ish. But if you're looking to move to PC gaming, you can spend half that and still out perform your console options. Check out Austin Evans or Tek Syndicate on YouTube. Austin does budget builds all the time.

Are you comparing it to El Capitan or Yosemite :)?

If you're talking in terms of pure snappiness, this statement is true compared to both versions of OS X. Windows 10 is faster on identical hardware, however obviously there's more to an OS than raw speed.
