Apps Series 7 not tracking cycling distance accurately?

To illustrate the importance of having a solid GPS lock before starting a swim, here’s a screenshot from Strava of a swim I did a few weeks ago when I started swimming before the GPS signal indicator went to green. While it managed to lock on after a bit and show accurate distance and time, the start point shows several hundred yards away from where it should’ve been (same as end point).
