Two features I can’t do without:

Calls on other devices
EverNote

When Apple fixes the above two I’d like to go back to iOS 12.

The other thing is my battery drained badly on standby in iOS 12. Not the case in iOS 11.4. When Apple fixes all this, somebody please PM me to install iOS 12 again. :)

And I’d prefer if Skype is fixed too soon.

Better wait until public beta.

I’m having none of these problems on my X and 8 Plus, iOS 12 is fine for me so far ;-)

Skype Beta from inside preview works perfectly with iOS 12.
Just register for the Skype insider preview and on Monday you will get the invitation by mail. Did the same last week.

And just how are Apple meant to fix the issues with Evernote...?

And I was just about to ask about the battery life. Guess 11.4 is where I'm staying even if I can't resolve it.

Wow. If trying an iOS beta is the "biggest mistake" of your life, I honestly feel sorry for you. It's a big, amazing world. Live a little!

Haha. Yeah restores really aren’t that laborious imo

It’s not like you’re stuck there

I was on watchOS beta and had to send my watch In to get it restored on watchos3 beta I think in the day . Even in that case there was a solution

Aren’t the animations just sped up in iOS 12? Like the oooooooold jailbreak tweak from years ago that would tweak the animations and you could set your own speed, for opening and closing apps, menu speed while navigating etc. I always did love that tweak.

Skype is a ****ing electron crapp :/ I hate these multi-platform “solutions” that break at every step Looking forward to ditching Skype completely and going FaceTime / WeChat only

I was thinking the opposite. If an iOS update is the biggest mistake you ever make, I say you’re living right. Count your lucky stars.

that is such a refreshing outlook I hadn’t considered that.

I love it

Those are the glory days
