Ipad backgrounds lost - upgrade to IOS 7
sigh - just lost a bunch of my Ipad backgrounds with IOS 7 update. Wish I had known that. I have the one with moutliple mountain ranges overlaid - afraid to change it. Can anyone save me please?

Is there a way to save IOS 6 wallpapers if now on IOS 7?

I still have two of the IOS 6 backgrounds on my ipad - one as current wallpaper, on for lock screen. Is there a way to save them? I looked at the ipad 'disk" on my computer, and I could not see the wallpaper files

Here are the first seven stock wallpapers at retina resolution (2048x2048). I have the rest but haven't converted them yet from the iPad's weird PNG format. If anyone wants one of the other stock wallpapers, let me know and I'll post it.

Can't find anywhere on the web the one with water drops on a glass in png format, 2048 x 2048, viewable in Windows (converted from weird Apple pngs to regular png). I downloaded the whole set that you've posted but I have not succeed to convert any to a regular png format.
I need that particular wallpaper please. If you can convert it for me and post it here, you're my God. Thanks a lot in advance.

Since my first upload (of the original iPad series) is causing problems - although not on my machine - I've made it into a regular 2048x2048 png.

I'd love to have the anthracite with circles wallpaper in full resolution (the 8th one, between the earth and the cross-section tree), could you please convert it for me or explain how you do it so I can do it myself?

I'm not sure if I missed something or not, but I downloaded the original link and got the zip file of all the PNG's, unzipped, and my Mac (OS 10.7.5) was able to read the files fine (in Preview). However PS (CS5) could not. So I opened them all in Preview, exported them as PNG's, and then PS could open them fine.
Did I miss something or stumble onto the solution?

This doesn't work for me (I can't open them in Preview, OS 10.7.4), no idea why...

Sorry, I didn't mean anthracite the mineral, I meant anthracite the color.
So you are able to open the unconverted png-files in preview? I don't understand why I'm not.
