I’m trading my Xs max into Apple. Just curious how long it usually takes for the trade in kit to get delivered.

Apple trade-in boxes are delivered via UPS SurePost service. Don’t confuse it with the real brown-truck UPS. UPS SurePost deliveries are handled by your local post office such as USPS.

What happens is that the real brown-truck UPS does indeed pick up your package, then once in your town, it hands it to USPS to complete delivery.

Mine currently listed as UPS Ground in shipping - so we'll see.

That’s strange. Going to have to give Apple a call today, because I have not received them yet.

It was much quicker this year. Took a few weeks last year. Did you order and trade in through Apple? If so you can check the status in your iPhone order.

I was supposed to get my kit today but FedEx states it’s still in transit. Apple informed me that I don’t get by tomorrow-Thursday- to call them for a replacement kit.

FedEx was 2 days late for me based on their initial estimate but it came this morning and is on its way back to Apple already, I was ready to put the phone in the box and send it in.

I got my kit and already sent it back. It should be back at Apple sometime tomorrow. Hopefully the loan closes out fast so I can be done with it.

Take LOTS of pictures of the device before sending it in. I sent my perfectly working iPhone X and Apple says there's buttons missing on it. Incredible.

Has anyone received their refund yet? Mine was delivered to them Thursday of last week and still says it’s being inspected.

The last phone I traded in to apple took almost two weeks after they received it to see my refund.

I would keep looking for a tracking number. Apple and/or Fedex lost mine. Took several phone calls to fix.

I’m with you. Mine was received last Thursday and they are still inspecting it. I just got done talking to them and they said the 3 business days is an estimate. I said it doesn’t say an estimated 3 business days! They informed me it’s taking longer due to the new releases.
