Just installed to my 64Gb model.
Used: 1GB
Free: 55GB
Total: 57GB

I need to download more apps haha!
HAHA. My thought exactly. I'm at 7 GB used on my 64GB. I know of at least 2 in development that will grow that when published. I may have more space than I need. We'll see...

Version 1.2 is now available in the App Store. Let me know if it's working better now, especially those with 64gb units.
Definitely need this. Will download tonight. Might exchange for a 64GB just in case. Its a shame that an app like this needed to be created by a dev instead of apple. Worth it in my eyes. Thanks

And if anyone complains about the price, complain to apple for not having this to begin with.

After the new tvos update my storage is now

Used 9gb

Free space 47gb

What is that about ?
Mine had a 5 gb swing as well. Went from 7gb used and 49gb free to 2gb used and 54gb free. Could it be related to temporary storage being dumped during the software update?

New Version 1.3 is now available in the App Store:

o Added a settings screen
o Added a setting to change the clock type between 12 & 24 hour
o Added a setting to change what the progress bar represents
o Added version number to the settings screen
o Fixed the clock so that it will now update itself if the time changes

Im thinking about adding a small weather display as well but then this becomes more like a dashboard than a storage display.

if you can find a way to add the siri remote battery life, this app will be on top next to my settings app

Cool idea. Will download. I'm loving having SpeedTest as an App so I can check on if the streaming issue is due to lack of internet connection. So far I'm getting a very comforting and solid 50 mbps on SpeedTest, which is plenty of speed. And my streaming has been very good except for one time when iTunes "wasn't available". But that sorted itself in just a few minutes. I want to check out my storage to see if 32gb is right for me (I suspect it will be fine).

I report storage using a base 2 system. (GB = 1024 * 1024 * 1024).
I can give the option if you want to view it using a base-10 system. (GB = 1000 * 1000 * 1000).

Let me know.

A gigabyte (GB) is never 1024^3, a gibibyte (GiB) is. You should use the proper units to avoid confusion.

o Added setting to show space as GB or GiB.
o Added basic Weather Display and corresponding settings. (cause why not)

Your app says total space 59.92

I'm guessing the 4gb missing is the OS ?

Can you make it so the total says 64gb
Then add a system ------/with the amount the OS uses

So it would say

Used space
Free space
System
Total space

Sorry no. That's not how it works with any Apple Device. If I did this I would be more or less contriving space. I want to be as accurate as possible.

The weather feature is useless outside the US. You do a weather condition lookup based on a zip code. Looks like anything different than the US 5-digit code will result in puzzling results.... in my case it's supposed to be 16 celsius here today. Definitely not.

Well now we have something in common as this post is also useless.

1) see About page where I say don't count on it outside the US

2) try sending me the zip code you're using and I may be able to help fix it

Sorry, but usually I don't read "the manual" (RTFM).

My zip in the Netherlands is 6541AJ (= Nijmegen) if it helps. Did some googling, but most weather sites (Accuweather, Weatherbug) with some sort of API use AFAIK the city's name.

I just tried that code and its working fine. Says 14C currently.

Edit: In the simulator I get the following:

Got Weather For: Awang, - 14°C - Clear [L:7 H:19]

EDIT: Ok so in the next version I have added the ability to use a WOEID directly by adding 'woeid' to the postal code string.

Example for you would be: woeid732073

results in:

Got Weather For: Nymegen, GLD - 4°C - Fair [L:1 H:6]

Sound reasonable?
