Great thread!

Thanks for the Harvester one! How do you see the Passbook apps in the appstore once you've added a voucher or whatever?

Clickteez' use of passbook is great. It updated when it's being printed and then again when shipped. :)

Starbucks UK now supports Passbook, just generated my card. :D

Just a shame my nearest Starbucks is 20 miles away.

Just saw it! at last!!

Can anyone tell me how to add passbooks once you've already downloaded some. The link disappears

Passbook support was only added in today's update in the UK so unsure how you have used it since Passbook was first available.

He said Starbucks app. I had to re-read a few times to be fair as it didn't make any sense. (it still doesn't) :D

I've added my Starbucks card to Passbook; it seems very easy to do, and shows the kind of thing that Passbook can provide.

Interestingly, the Starbucks app also asks for your favourite Starbucks stores, so that it can "have your pass ready when you get there" - this allows you to pick from the map or a list (and uses any you've already marked as "favourites" in the Starbucks App).

Glad to finally have starbucks card in passbook. It seems like Nectar and Subway both have plans as well:

Just wish these companies had planned ahead. I'm sure we are looking at mid next year for widespread use in the UK

Thats great, thanks!

Interesting Starbucks isn't showing up on that list.

I usually check this list:

Most companies will want a piece of the action now, it's great for business.

I have been using the Starbucks app from the day I updated to IOS6.

Here are two screen shots and I can assure you i did not get all those credits today. I was notified of an update this am and did the update but been using for a while.

When you update an APP it puts a copy of the old app in the Junk folder. I just checked my Junk folder and the original version 2.4.1 is still in my junk folder. Happy to put a copy up.

Yes you could use the card within the app before, but you can now add your card to Passbook, that's the difference.

Sorry you have lost me. If you look at image 1. i press touch to pay and it flips the card and the machine in starbucks reads it directly. What is different now.

I think the difference now is that you can now have your card actually within the Passbook app whereas before, you could only have a card within the Starbucks app.

well for most people it prompts you when you load to app to see if you want to add to passbook. otherwise, go to the card tab, click manage, you should see an option to add to passbook. now you can bring up your card from passbook, add favourite stores so that passbook brings up when nearby etc.

If I add say for example a Starbucks card to Passbook via the app, can I then delete the app without losing the passbook stuff?

The Passbook card is an extension to the app, so if you remove the app it will stop it from updating I think.
