Received the w6800x Duo today, ran some tests vs other gpus I had benchmarked. 28 core Mac Pro, 96gb ram

geekbench 5 metal: 144,910
hash rate for those interested: 58 mh/s each, around 600 watt total system draw, 175w-200w each gpu

Will benchmark more as well, if anyone has a specific request let me know

Can you make a test to see if for some reason Apple or AMD added HEVC 10bit 422 video decoders on these?

R5 footage or similar.

Wondering if anyone has received the W6900X MPX yet? How does a single more expensive W6900x compare to the W6800x duo?

I am curious too - I do have a 6900 XT, so far the W6800x Duo is faster than a single 6900xt where multi gpu Is used such as Resolve or FCP. By a fairly big margin too - the single W6800x is already not a massive gap from the W6900x, So a Duo is certainly faster as 2 vs 1.

I am assuming also the w6900x will be faster than a 6900 XT in some tasks due to more Vram, but it may also be slightly slower in others due to the decreased clock speed

If you guys have any other test ideas let me know - I am also getting a 2nd duo, so I will test 4 GPUs as well.
If you're so inclined:

I'd love to see how many hardware h.264 encoders your system reports with that Duo in. I'm assuming it's three.

Wonder if there is enough power (and room) to install a 5th Retail W6800 above the 2 MPX modules....lol.

Again, would just like to reiterate what has already been stated above by others, thank you so much for taking the time to do this, it's incredibly useful! Would love to see some Redshift Benchmark results for these if possible?

Do you have some instructions or a specific benchmark I can run? I am not too familiar with Redshift, but I did run Octane benchmarks.

The 4 GPUs got 4 seconds in the Chess test
