Mine has to be:

TuneIn Radio Pro

Tubex (In my opinion, the best YouTube client)

MyFitnessPal (If you need to/want to monitor your calorie/macronutrient intake, this is superb and free)

Dropbox

Wdgts (A collection of really handy Notification Center widgets)

You?

These are mine:

Pandora

Coda - So handy to work on my website wherever I bring my iPad, and especially with its split screen support and ability to FTP

Twitter - My most used app in the split screen mode

Chrome - Because of its cross platform sync :p

MS Word - Definitely love using the iPad version

Yeah I only just found out today how you get the full Word package (allowing you to create new documents, at least) today!

Well handy.

I prefer Pages, but word is the industry standard so it's handy to have ...

Notability - for all my business needs

Planner - my diary and filofax. very simple, but suits me fine.

Dropbox - again, my dump for files between home/work

Sidefari - allows 2 copies of Safari open side by side at same time.

TuneIn Radio - stating the obvious :p

As for Apple Apps, Numbers and Pages are heavily used on a daily bases in place of Word and Excel, purely because i love them on the ipad compared to the MS versions, which are what i use in work.

TuneIn Radio Pro is only a few pence, and allows you to record.

Really handy, at times.

Going to look at Sidefari - Thanks for that ...

Overcast, podcasts.

The Smart Speed feature - it cuts out silences between speech - has saved me 120 hours since launch a few years ago, so extrapolating that means I must have easily clocked multiple thousand hours using it.

Infuse, media player. Excellent, still has AC3 support and Dolby certification. Lacks PiP but have since learned that's much down to Apple.

Alien Blue for Reddit.

On which iOS device?
In general...
  1. OneNote
  2. Sketchbook
  3. Kindle
  4. Photoshop Sketch
  5. PowerPoint
... But different devices have different often used apps.

On the iPad Pro, the list above is accurate.

On the mini...
  1. Kindle
  2. OneNote
  3. YouTube
  4. Flickr
  5. Philips Hue
On the iPhone 6+...
  1. Starbucks
  2. Adobe Capture
  3. Philips Hue
  4. Field Trip
  5. Microsoft Health (using the Microsoft Band to track sleep)

But I think the app I spend the most time in is Safari, and I also use Pages, News and iBooks a lot. Oh, and Mail and Calendar. Listing only non Apple apps gives a very lopsided picture of my iPad usage. Like I couldn't come up with 5 most used non Apple apps, because after the 4 I listed, I can't think of another non Apple app I use frequently enough to make my top 5.

I’ll just mention one, Mr. Reader, as I find it’s my most used app and it doesn’t seem to be that well known.

Instead of going to the same sites everyday, to see what’s new, I use Mr. Reader to bring that content to me. I use it like a personal newspaper.

It’s an RSS reader and allows you to view RSS feeds. You can’t subscribe to the feeds directly in Mr. Reader, instead you have to use another service to synchronise your feeds and then connect Mr. Reader to that service. I use Feedly for this, which is free.

There are a lot of RSS readers around, but I prefer Mr.Reader as it allows you to reformat webpages so that you’re just left with the main text and photos from an article. It also offers a lot of different viewing options.

It’s not the most user-friendly app to setup, but it’s worth spending a few hours to get it how you want it. The developer's website is useful for finding out what the various settings do -

GoTasks - it's what I use for a to-do list, synced with my google account. I use this app constantly at work. It's what I use to organize and plan my days. I've been using it for a few years now -- ever since I got tired of scribbling reminders to myself on scraps of paper!

The Weather Channel app
Netflix
YouTube

Plex - I just got this app the other day but I'm sure I'll be using it a lot. HomeSharing my iTunes library to my iPad never did work very well - took forever to load the library, if would even load it - which is a major bummer. Plex seems to be so much better.

My most used app period is Safari, though. By far.
