If I come across this movie on television (which admittedly isn't as often as it used to be), the remote gets tossed across the room, as I won't need it again. I'm watching the rest of the movie, no matter how far in it already is. My favorite movie of all time.
Right! For some reason, both me and the wife, no matter where it is at, we will stop the channel surfing and watch it to the end. Something about that movie!

Back to the Future trilogy - My favorite is Part II, but I feel like anytime you watch any of them, you have to watch the whole series to appreciate it.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - In my mind, the best sci-fi action film ever made. Perfect casting, masterful writing, and special effects that still hold up very well over thirty years on.
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) - While I think Empire is the best Star Wars film, ROTJ is the most rewatchable for me because they decided to go bigger is better with everything for this one. The space battle above Endor and the duel between Luke and Vader were far ahead of their time.
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) - After Goldfinger, this is the quintessential James Bond film. It's got the cars, the gadgets, exotic locations, larger than life villains, and deadly women. Honorable mention to For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy, the latter of which is very underrated.
Apocalypse Now (1979) - Any of the various cuts of this film are highly rewatchable.

Another one that if it is on, I will stop and watch it... not action packed, but something about this movie...

Regarding the thread topic, for the wife and I, the Infinity Stone Saga and some associated Marvel films almost reached this level. I have a library of films I tend to cycle though, although I don’t want to try to list them all.
There is a vibe, tremendously rec-captured in Bladerunner 2049. I walked out of the latter pleased, but wanting so much more. There is an underlying tension in this world made of slaves. I know that once the uprising starts, it will be a challenge to tell a satisfying sequel.
I'm a tad all over the map...

Ahhh... Field of Dreams. To this day, that one gets me a little teary eyed during a couple of scenes. What a great movie!
Same. Just listening to James Earl Jones speak gets me. So many great, emotional moments in that movie!
I saw it on TV with a friend when we were about 15 and after an hour we turned it off because it was hard to follow and didn't seem to get interesting. That put me off watching it until I was in my 30s... it's amazing how different things can be once you're old enough to appreciate them! With that said, I've heard that the TV version may have been missing some narration that was in the cinematic version, which probably didn't help.
Repeating some of the existing mentions, I can rewatch LOTR, original Star Wars trilogy, BTTF, as well as classics like Ben-Hur, 2001, Akira, and To Be Or Not To Be (1940s original). There are probably others but they're not coming to mind right now
