Hey Guys,

recently I've been nothing my Mac's SSD Storage consistently go down by about 20mb every couple of minutes.
I have run DaisyDisk and GrandPerspective to help me locate the culprit but to no avail.
Is there anything you guys can do to help me locate the offending file/folder/program?

I'm running a Late 2012 Mac Mini, 256GB SSD, El Capitan 10.11.3,
Time Machine over USB 3.0
ThunderBolt Display

I really do appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks

Does it happen if you safe boot while holding down the shift key? If not, then the problem is a startup item which can be disabled in the Users and Groups pref panel.

You could also have Console.app and Activity Monitor.app open and look for any suspicious activity.

You could download and run the free MalwareBytes or Mac: https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/
