Hi all, I am looking to download Pages and Numbers for Mojave. The App store tells me that I need to be running system 11 or higher. Where do I find older, sound versions of both Pages and Numbers to download?

A member is going through something similar right now. And appears since never "bought" it (ie. accepted the free version) in the past, they too can't get an older version of the software.

I wonder if that can be upgraded........😆
Joking aside, I have no use for 'office' type applications.
I think I only ever used it a couple of times, it's probably still installed on my G4 PowerBook.

Thank you for the suggestion, I did try LibreOffice but ended up getting frustrated with it. Couldn't even do a basic spreadsheet. Super annoying cause back in the 90s I was doing desktop publishing for a living, used PageMaker 6.4 on my ol Mac Classic....I see that PageMaker did exist up til 2001 then disappeared.LibreOffice - free, native and, some would say, better than Pages & Numbers

I found this in my Purchased list, but am told I should update. I'm running OS 10.14 as well, and cannot upgrade to 10.15 or .16
All that said, should the current Pages still work or will it once again crash my mac?
Thanks, my bf uses this on his Linux machine, and my editor has been saving as .docx with Libre Office, but InDesign doesn't recognize these files. It will import .doc files, but the formatting is lost. So frustrating.LibreOffice - free, native and, some would say, better than Pages & Numbers

In practice, only you can tell

Thanks again, however, a PDF isn’t editable. The normal routine is to import text from a document and then apply styles and place images to create a readable layout. I’ll just have to leave the doc window open while working up an InDesign layout, and refer back to it for italics, etc. (adding .doc to the text file in Finder enables InDesign to recognize it, but not .docx for some reason )
I can’t imagine thinking it’s better than Pages & Numbers. It’s an amazing accomplishment but I tried it recently and the interface feels stuck in the late 90s with a coat of paint to try to make it look modernLibreOffice - free, native and, some would say, better than Pages & Numbers

This “Interface is just appearance” philosophy is unfortunately a huge problem for open source software.
Interface is partially appearance but the most important part is how things work. And one of the keys to a successful interface is that it works the way the operating system you’re using works.
I’m not interested in themes that attempt to patch a modern look over top while ignoring the fundamental flaws in an interface. I’m interested in using applications with smooth, functional user experiences that make it pleasant to get work done

I have also full installer, iWork on DMG. Probably won't install on Monterey, can't test but I think its full.I don't need the iLife software, just browsing this thread......
