Why are there no images in iOS15 Apple Mail on an iPhone11Pro?

What must be turned on to see images in Apple Mail on an iPhone11Pro in iOS15? I updated to iOS15 and no more images in Apple Mail. Apple Techs were unable to turn them back on. Does anyone know what check box will show images in iOS15 iPhone Apple Mail?

I assume the Apple Techs and/or you checked “Load Remote Images” in the Mail settings?

I remember seeing the toggle for load images but don’t see it on 15. Searching for it from spotlight takes you to mail settings but the toggle isn’t there

I am seeing a blank window where any images are sent to me. I see all text as normal sent to me, but no images.

Tonite, I wiped the iPhone11Pro, then restored iOS15 and my recent iCloud backup. I think I solved the issue. If not I will write. Thanks for your responses.

Are you using ios15.0.2?

I could see email images without issues in 15.0, 15.0.1, 15.0.2 and now on 15.1. You should go to Settings-->Mail-->Privacy Protection and turn off "Protect Mail Activity".

iCloud Private Relay is only for Safari. For Mail, it is Settings-->Mail-->Privacy Protection and turn off "Protect Mail Activity".

Its ON by default now. But why don't you write some more posts in ALL CAPS maybe that will solve your problem.

Because companies don't design features for individual users like you, they design it for the vast majority. And for the vast majority, it is working. If it is not working just for you and a handful of people, submit feedback to Apple. You can type whatever way you want, as I won't be reading it anymore.

Well there is a lot of flaky crap in iOS 15, so it is could be a bug if there isn't an obvious option set incorrectly. I'm running iOS 15.0.2 on my iPhone XR and here is a screen capture after I sent two photos to myself. One was viewable as soon as I opened the email, the other had to be tapped to load but did load. I am of course on my own VIP list and I have the protect Mail Activity option turned OFF. I do have Block All Remote Content set to ON though.

Is the email from a known contact? Is it from an unknown contact or one that is not in the VIP list?

Load images is now ‘block all remote content’ apparently. But load images still shows up in search & takes you to mail settings, although there’s no such setting now.

Settings —> Mail —> Privacy Protection —> Block All Remote Content option.

I have turned off everything under Privacy Protection. That gave me back email images. So Privacy Protection is a useless addition by Apple, unless you never want to see images in Apple Mail on an iPhone.
