The colour scheme is weird, I'd rather it was either all white or all black.
Though much smaller to hide, white could have been smart.

Plus what logic is it to have LESS space on a digital only system??
From what I have read, the S is aiming to delivers a 1080p or 1440p gaming experience, while the X is aiming at 4k.
If the S and X and their games support DirectML, then 1440p will be upscaled in a way that makes it look as sharp and detailed as native 4k but achieve higher frame rates.Yes though S also 'upscales' to 4K which is similar to my pay HD viewing.
Not native 4K, hopefully S console is a bit smarter than x box one.
thanks
Series S will target 1440p at 60fps.Could purchase Ghost Recon Breakpoint: for S Series.
Which I assume to be limited to 1440 30FPS -x box one version.
Does 30 FPS mean it is seriously slow moving graphics.
Never took notice when using ps4 or x box one.
Series S will target 1440p at 60fps.
Since my birthday is the 13th, I considered getting one, but there are no 4k TV's in our house and the TV our Xbox One S is connected to is only 720p.
Kinda pointless.
My bad. Xbox One games will run at One S resolution on the Series S.Does X box one version not need to be upgraded to 60fps or does It work straight from box.
thanks

Possibly or maybe S series could apply some 1440p upscaling, unless One S Version has 1440p in game.
I have no idea but hope that I will be able to use my Bluetooth Sony XM3 headphone as a headphones without having to use adapters/dongles.Is X Box next gen using a specific Bluetooth or wireless protocol for headphones.
Wondering if there is any remote chance that I could make use of my Avaya Savvi.
Which works for ios+win10 laptop.
thanks
Pretty much all 2018-2020 games are designed for ps4 and one. Although they are optimised for next gen they don't fully take advantage of the velocity architecture. No ray tracing for Devil May Cry 5 on the Series S.
That's a bummer. We'll have to wait and see how other games actually perform on the S.
100%On a lark I went looking at possible replacement monitors for my 1080p secondary (which also serves as my Xbox input) and was bummed to find out that there's basically no good options out there—you either get a slow but nicer panel or you continue on with a crummy display at 120 or 144Hz. Getting ≥120Hz and HDR in a monitor, especially at <27" sizes, is essentially impossible. Guess I don't really have an appealing upgrade path for my panels for next-gen.
I definitely am. At this point considering both console's soft launch I'm just waiting until the spring at least when there are more games and I've subsidized at least $300 of the cost from Rewards points.100%
Every monitor that's currently on the market is a compromise except for the LG CX TVs but they are big and expensive.
HDR still sucks on 90% of monitors as they are of HDR400 and not HDR600.
However many monitors on the market will be replaced next year's with HDMI 2.1 spec monitor capable of 4K at 120Hz.
It's worth waiting if you desperately don't need a new monitor right now.
