No new UI
Y Apple? And no split sceen and Dark Mode. As it is the 10 years whit iOS this is so :(
Don't think new UI was really expected. Split screen is already there for larger devices that support it. Dark mode would be nice, but likely coming with OLED devices (if it's coming at all).

Seems like Apple has decided (so far) that the size of the screen on the iPhones isn't large enough to make it as good of an experience as they would like it to be.

Why wouldn't they make this feature and if anyone wants then why would they decide if it is good or bad experience? What, we don't have brains to think?

Because Apple doesn't just make anything and everything available and let users tinker with it all, they make what they believe will provide the best experience for the majority of their typical users with some options that they feel the users can make use of relating to it. It's pretty much how it's always been when it comes to iOS devices in particular, but realistically most/all of their devices and even computers (although there's more freedom when it comes to those). Nothing exactly new or surprising about any of it. Not sure why people are still somehow surprised or shocked in some way when it comes to things of this nature.
