I think we might not see 14.8 until near when 15 is out, so it’s possible 14.7.2 could come soon.
I’d think they’d use 14.7.2 for security related fixes and maybe some bug fixes. Then they could introduce any new API’s related to 15 with 14.8
My bets are on 14.8. But yeah, I agree with one more release of IOS 14 before IOS 15 goes live. So its either IOS 14.7.2 or IOS 14.8.

I’m waiting and hoping for the iOS 14.8 to get released soon because many people are complaining about battery drain on 14.7.1

Its super stable for me and amazing battery life.
Another beta of IOS 15, though. Perhaps the final version will be released before we expected it.
