I have MBA M1, and want to learn linux and mastering it for system administrator skills. should I change to Windows laptop or stay with MBA M1? Thanks in advance.

Hey all. I recently picked up a very nice 10 core garbage can. Windows 10 and mac os work fine on it. However I can’t get wifi in Ubuntu. I’m running Ubuntu 23 with the broadcom drivers installed and enabled but only ethernet is available. Am I missing something here?

I'd think I'm going to need software for giving my macOS read/write access to a 32GB USB drive that is formatted ext4. I was looking at Paragon's extFS for Mac, but wasn't sure if it was worth the buy. Is there a way to allow read/write to drives from the Terminal? Or some free software perhaps? 😬
