Ultra Wide band is the GOATVerizon in San Antonio with the 12 pro View attachment 974001
You right about that!!Ultra Wide band is the GOAT
None in my town either but a little ways down the road they have it. This is what I got:No 5G in my area, who needs it anyway when you got speeds like this. ?
While they do "live" together, DSS will free up spectrum for whichever technology needs it most (in a nutshell).5G and LTE are not like LTE and 3G. Whereas LTE and 3G couldn't coexist (that is you can't have both on the same spectrum), 5G and LTE can be on the same spectrum, and so Verizon isn't exactly using "a portion of" it's spectrum. The two live together.
Dynamic spectrum sharing for 5G deployments
Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) is emerging as a key part of mobile service providers’ 5G strategy. Ericsson’s offering in this space offers the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) to launch 5G in bands currently used for 4G – enabling nationwide 5G coverage in short time after launch.www.ericsson.com
