The more I hear about Intel's 10th gen cpu, the less I like it. I'm even more pleased to have the 9th gen, as I can underclock it.

Intel failed at transitioning off of 14nm while AMD is on 7nm, so of course, moving from 9th to 10th gen will only yield minor speed improvements.

I'm not sure what their issue is but intel has been struggling with moving CPU design forward for years and their only answer is throwing more cores into the cpu

Yes, basically it does not really matter if you buy a 10th gen 45w CPU or a three year old one predecessor. The only reason I didn't ask my office to get one of the laptop yet is the chance to get a 17" 16:10 XPS.

So thank you AMD for putting pressure onto Intel!

Looks like AMD is making it's way into business machines (Lenovo ThinkPad T14, T14s, X13, and more)
