Anybody notice better battery life on 6.1?

Took 6.1.1 last night and in theatre mode during night it went from slightly over 1% drain to 2%! Definitely a step backwards. Will try reboot tonight and maybe unpai/pair yet again... Wish I hadn’t been so eager to update!

don’t say that! I’ve just got a new series 5 and battery life has been great compared to my series 4. Hope it doesn’t start again

Mine has seemed to improve a lot. After 45 min run at gym on treadmill watch was still showing 100 percent. Series 5 nike edition.

6.1.1 installed this morning and so far, drain is a bit higher. was 2-2.5% / hour and now at a steady 3%. Restarted watch this a.m. after update but may restart again at end of day. 3% still o.k. but definitely burning faster than it has over the past few weeks with no other changes.

Great! I got my S5 yesterday and noticed the difference in battery life today compared to my S3. I used to put my watch on charge after 24 hours use and it would be around 63%. My S5 today was on 27%. Updating it now as we speak, so I hope it will last me!

2nd day with 6.1.1 and much better. Yesterday ended with around 3%/hour. So far on for 7 hours normal use and have used 14%. This is a bit better than I was getting on 6.1.

That’s good. What watch face are you using? I have found that it makes a difference.

My battery has improved very much on a series 4 40mm. I was draining about 4% and hour and now it's at 2% and hour. I'm happy. (This is on 6.1.1. Not 6.1 tho.)

That’s good. What watch face are you using? I have found that it makes a difference.

Battery level: 75%

This includes a 40 min outdoor walk workout on LTE, listening to (downloaded) Podcast. 6.1.1, AOD on, RTW off, noise off.

Basically you have 30% left after 24 hours that is great. I managed to extend with theatre mode at night to 38 hours to complete exhaustion off the battery so I guess that is best we can expect. This is 6.1.1 and RTW, app background refresh and Noice off. AOD on except when I sleep.

6.1.1 has been much better battery-wise for my S5. 6.1 was an improvement, and now 6.1.1 seems to be better than 6.1.
