Mini update. Nothing has been charged and my order is still showing “order in progress” but instead of delivers 12/15 by next day shipping, it now shows delivers 12/12-12/14 by next day. So not quite the order 12/7, get 12/9 like you guys but still looks a little earlier than the 12/15 ☺️
I have 2 sim-free model on order, one ordered yesterday. I see that it's 12/12-14. I placed another one today was slated for 12/18/17 but now that changed to 12/14. I'll be waking up tomorrow at 6 am to see if Apple store near me got some in stock. I know they were in stock on Tuesday. So tomorrow morning if it's still "Order in Process" I'll be canceling those and choose the pick up option if it's available for pick for that day. Both of them are on PayPal Credit.
If anyone on here has a pending order and lives in Colorado every Apple Store in town has available models in both colors and storage options for instore pickup FYI
The one I placed this morning just went to preparing to ship, while the one I ordered yesterday still order in progress.
Which models did you order? I ordered a 256G Silver (for T-Mobile) this morning and it is still order in progress...
which is better, UPS or FEDEX?, I am getting my phone shipped from nashville (apple warehouse).

I have tracking but not updated yet so I don’t know but probably either from California or one in Tennessee. I prefer FedEx over UPS but it’s fine as long as I can request a hold for pick up.
Got my phone at apple store on release day. Saturday DD wanted to upgrade her phone. Got online, and at least 4 apple stores within 2 hours of me had 3 of the 4 available on ATT.....if anybody can get to an apple store, their stock is pretty good. When we left saturday late afternoon, they still had stock.
256GB Silver iPhone X, Sim-Free, ordered 12/9, shipped 12/11, should be delivered 12/12. Not bad.

Apple did a pretty good job of getting their most popular phone ever - out. Those of us who pre order every year and were used to getting phones on launch day if we ordered before :15 after the pre order open- have to realize those days are gone. Apple’s base is just too large. Their flagship phone - like X Plus next year will only arrive on launch day for people who get their orders in in the first 1-2 minutes..
I think it was particularly more painful this year because we had to wait another whole month past the normal launch time.
But I had a 4 week wait for my JetBlack 7Plus last year. This year only 12 days from launch.. Got it on 15th - promised 11/17-11-24. Can’t complain. Ordered at 3:08am pre order night.

Loving my X so far after about 2+ months of use. Idk why tho my battery life was amazing when I got the phone but it’s now worse........ I only have maybe 10 apps on my phone and close everything after use all the time. I rarely let apps run when I am not using the phone.....
Very strange. I also have WiFi and Bluetooth off most of the day..... anyone experiencing similar behavior? I have not been able to attribute it to any updates that have been installed....
