Oooh thanks for reminding me! Forgot this was a feature in iOS 17.1. Very cool.
Linked my natwest, works like a dream. Disappointing that AMEX haven't caught up yet though and enabled it.
What's the Bank Account Link feature, not sure how this would help in addition to Debit Cards.
Uses the Open Banking protocol - i.e. with NatWest you can see transactions that have taken place e.g. cheque paid in without logging into the app.
With participating card issuers, you can connect your account to Wallet (available with iOS 17.1 or later). When your account is connected, you can use Wallet to see a more comprehensive view of your account details, such as your current balance and full transaction history.
In Wallet, tap the card.
Tap Get Started and follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account.
