The 12 Pro Max will probably fall off of the $1000 credit device list and move to $700 credit for the 15 Pro Max.

Edit: also, even though you answered the 4 questions with your back glass being cracked in mind, I’m pretty sure once evaluated your phone will not qualify for the max credits as an undamaged phone would. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I've never understood the cracked back stipulation. When I traded my last iphone with cracked back I still got the full credit. I just can't recall whether I said it was good condition or not. I have a feeling they keep changing the rules.

Yeah like I said, I know by answering the questions it still says $1000. I’ve also seen cases where full credit was not received. It’s not explicitly clear and for that reason, I’d be wary and go to an AT&T store to get a receipt for the trade in.

I’m not seeing which devices qualify for $1000 on the 15 Pro Max, but I do not think the 12 Pro Max will.

AT&T hasn't even updated their site yet. Like they never even heard of the iPhone 15.

If I trade in a 12 Pro Max and want to purchase, not finance, Is the $1000 buy back still spread over 3 years?

There is no purchase option, if you want the $1000 credit you have to use their finance plan and receive the credits over 36 payments. It’s a way of trying to lock you in as a customer.

I was setting up pre-order preparation on the Apple site and selected AT&T plan as my choice. It said I should wait for an email when AT&T installment plans are available. Did anyone else try this? I've been with AT&T forever so I doubt it's a credit approval issue.
I’m on the same boat here. When do we get to complete our “pre” pre order ?

I'm on a "Mobile Select Unlimited" plan from AT&T from my employer, can I choose the AT&T version or do I need to choose the unlocked version? I tried asking a specialist at apple and she could not provide a clear answer.

Found the trade-in eligible models and their respective values on the AT&T website.

So the trade in value towards a $800 credit is the same for a 12 Pro and a 11? I might as well trade my old 11 instead right?

That list is for the iPhone 14 offer and only valid until 9/14/2023. Surely the lower models will get kicked out of each tier once the iPhone 15 is added to AT&Ts site.

It’s a pop-up modal so I can’t post the link but if you click on “See offer details” in the second carousel item on the main AT&T page, you can scroll through the full terms.

Ok great. You left out in the original screenshot that this was in fact corresponding to the 15. I am surprised.
I even said yesterday that the 12 Pro Max was eligible for the full $1000.... reading comprehension is key. If you're going to go around contradicting others, at least do a little research of your own before doing so.

I've played with the trade-in tool on AT&T's site now too, and it still shows full credit when I answer "no" to "is your iPhone in good condition?" (all others are "yes).
So, I'm going to assume this means I'm getting the full $1000

Running into a weird issue today that I did not experience yesterday. I plan on pre-ordering the 15 pro max directly from Apple using At&T 36 month payments to get the $1000 in bill credits. In order to be ready for the pre-order, I tested the checkout process by trying to buy an iPhone 14 to be sure I know all of the steps, info and potential issues I will run into on Friday. I want no surprises on Friday morning so I can quickly finish checkout. Unfortunately there is no get ready for preorder for AT&T.

Yesterday morning, this all worked fine and it let me select the payment plan with AT&T after running my info and I was able to add the phone to cart to complete the check out process. I also tested this last week as well.

Today, when I go through the motions for a iPhone 14, select the AT&T payment plan carrier deal option, and then enter my phone number and SS # so Apple can gather the data from AT&T, it shows I only have the option to pay in full. But all of my current devices have been paid in full for over 6 months now and my credit is excellent. The $1000 deal seems to be working on AT&T’s site as I can order a iPhone 14 with the bill credits directly through AT&T just fine.
I am worried this is going to impact my pre order on Friday. I am hoping it is some sort of carrier integration issue with Apple since it allowed me to upgrade using installments yesterday morning and suddenly stopped working after the event .

Am I alone here? Can anyone else test this out with an iPhone 14 on the Apple Store app who is upgrade eligible to verify?

I attached a pic of the message, normally it would say something like “congratulations! you can upgrade with AT&T installments…yada yada” Now, it’s making me pay the whole balance?

AT&T hasn't even updated their site yet. Like they never even heard of the iPhone 15.

ATT screwed up my iPhone order long ago and I will NEVER use them to get my new phone again!

You want a nightmare, trying calling ATT customer service! They are "off shore" with l o n g hold times with techs who are very limited due to their location! If something goes wrong, you are screwed!

I’ve done one upgrade through AT&T. Then I decided I didn’t want the upgrade so I went to return it within the 14 days. I went to return it and they gave me an issue ( I thought I could return to Apple being it’s their device ) but I had to return to AT&T. They gave me a small hassle but took it back.

Now when I upgrade I do it through Apple. I just click on what I need and poof I get what I want.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either or. Pick which ever you get the highest credit for.

I thought you were mistaken since it doesn’t make sense they wouldn’t change the eligible devices between the 14 deals and the 15 deals. No need to be so snarky.

Again, I’ve seen cases where saying no to the first question does not give full credit. Be careful.

iPhone 12 Pro is a $830 credit when traded towards a 15 Pro on Att site.

What I can’t find is a list of eligible unlimited plans to get the credit. All our lines are on the Att Unlimited Elite, the plan that includes HboMax and is retired. There is vague wording about some retired plans still qualify.
