A not as well-known English Baroque composer, but quite enjoyable.

Is there a Beethoven 1 and 2 symphony Available for humans?
I was listening to the Third and wondered why i don’t have the first 2.
maybe a quick duckie search might seam in order

Well, I have them (I have all nine) on CD, and now, they are on my computer's iTunes, and also on my mp3 player(s); I don't do the Cloud.

To be honest, they are the most forgettable of the symphonies, and are pretty derivative of Haydn - to my mind, Beethoven didn't really come into his own authentic symphonic voice until the third symphony.

However, you may think differently.
Alexander Borodin - String Quartet No. 2 in D Major: III. Notturno. Andante

Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields - The Best of the Academy

Ah, wonderful; some of the Russian 19th & 20th century composers are brilliant.

Love to be introduced to composers from the Baroque era that I have yet to discover.

thank you for your reply!
Borodin is incredible and i have most of his music.
i had tears when i saw Rachmaninov's 3rd piano concerto live years ago.
those Beethoven symphonies could be on an older hardrive, along with the 10th that was recored in rehearsal.
these composers were ahead of their time!

While I'm pretty partial to the music of Borodin, I am also enamoured of the music of Tchaikovsky, and Mussorgsky, and, of course, those stunning piano concertos composed by Rachmaninov.

Moreover, once we reach the 20th century, both Khachaturian and Prokofiev were brilliant Russian (well, Soviet) composers.

I love the Romantic era for two reasons: Liszt and Beethoven.
For those who think their piano playing abilities and ego are up to it, Liszt’s La Campanella will adequately test your mettle. I think Liszt wrote this solely to demonstrate his technical superiority and huge size of his hands, plucky bastard!

No thanks. I'm learning HR No.2 and that's enough trauma.
