iPad mini Got my mini Smart Cover today...

OK, be honest, did you hold it and pretend it was the actual Mini ... ?
I have an Xbox game that is (according to Amazon) the approximate weight and (by Apple's specs) size as the mini. I've been picking it up frequently.

Hahaha, I did the same, as soon as I heard that was a good estimate of the size. Safari wasn't very snappy on it though ....

Two iPads seems to be excessive, to me, but I have a MacBook. So I couldn't see the point of a 9.7 inch device.
I did the math, it's almost 4.5X more screen than the iPhone 5 -

I guess an easy rough comparison for those that don't have a dvd or xbox game box lying around is taking a sheet of letter size paper and folding it in half horizontally.

I got mine (black) today as well. I ordered it alongside the Mini right when pre-orders began. Mini still is preparing for shipment, but the cover switched to Shipped mid-day Friday.
It doesn't look that small to me, obviously you can't really tell on the internet though.
Those are sweet!! By the web site I couldn't tell if they had the mini covers. But I see they do. That makes it even more exiting, live, real..
Tell me how this goes, whey say they will be in the stores November 2.
those of us who ordered by phone, does that me we are suppose to have them in our hands also by the second or are they just shipping out to us on November 2?
Sorry if you all know this i've never pre-ordered from Apple.
I ordered it from the online store on friday, I was surprised because the delivery estimate was Nov. 1.
All I'm saying is, after actually seeing the dimensions in person, it doesn't seem quite so crazy wanting a full iPad for home and one of these for on the go. Personally, I'm going 100% mini.
why no black or white covers to match the ipad????
A black cover makes sense to me but I white cover makes no sense at all especially if it's not leather.
