No, I don't use iTunes. Will that clear the log files?
Typically when you sync, it "copies diagnostic files" as one of the steps of syncing. But Shirasaki is saying it didn't work. Its worth a try IMO tho.

Did a factory reset and restore from backup and it’s system storage is rapidly increasing again.

Gone from 6 GB to 9 GB in 15 minutes and keeps growing. :(

Probably because you restored from a backup. So you are restoring that clutter.

Had the same issue on Monday, went to use my phone, 7 plus 128gb and said memory was almost full... checked settings and was at 96gb in just “other” data... did a full restore and seems to be ok, but system is still using about 16gb for now... I’m on iOS 11 beta 4 currently with it, so I’m thinking it’s a beta issue?

I had the same issue. Reset and re-installed. Last night it was around 15gb, this morning 22gb!!! Hopefully that is a high as it will go.

This issue only affects my iPad pro and not my iPhone - strange...

.... just checked 10 minutes later and it’s now reduced down to 8.8gb. Hopefully it is now all sorted

Also on the beta on my 6S+ (hadn't really checked before as it's 64 GB and not close to full), and my system is at 14.52 GB... I've noticed all along on the actual releases as well that other seems to eat up lots of space (this is especially true on my wife's 16 GB) and doesn't go away with syncs, etc

I'm only using the IOS 11 betas on my iPad Pro 9.7". Is everyone ONLY experiencing this on iPad?
No issues with a 2017 iPad 32GB. It was set up as new, though, and I'm using it on a dummy iCloud account. I kinda don't trust the beta enough to not delete my stuff on iCloud.

lmao everyone here freaking out should calm down. i just checked mine and it said 57.7 GB was taken up by the system. the grey portion of the storage bar on the top of the page took up a little more than 57.7 GB and was in grey which is categorized as “Other”.

If you wait a few minutes it’ll update and you’ll see the grey part gets smaller. iOS 11 takes a while to index so just wait and it’ll change. Now my system is reported as taking up just under 9GB

you can see in the screenshots below that my photo libray takes up about 51GB, so we can conclude that my photo library was being calculated as “Other” or “System” incorrectly, it just needed a moment to index and correct itself. If you’re still having issues with space, then you may actually have a corrupt filesytem or bad flash but that’s very unlikely.

Mine has been over 50 and growing for 2 days. It keeps filling up my phone and I have to delete things to continue using it. Waiting has not make it go down at all.

I also had the issue over the span of several days. Had to keep deleting stuff just to keep it functioning. Definitely not something that was just a matter of it settling down.

Seems like there’s enough of this happening here to be likely attributed to the iOS 11 beta.

I did do a restore from backup and so far so good but we’ll see...

if it keeps happening after you restored from a backup the try setting up as new. if it still happens then you most likely have bad flash

Still growing...almost to 64GB. Had to delete all of my music because the storage kept making out.
